Position Overview
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies that support business goals and community growth. You’ll work closely with marketing teams and executives to ensure that our online presence effectively communicates our brand values and enhances our consumer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, and written) across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Engage with our online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster relationships with followers and influencers.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics and campaign performance to drive strategic improvements and ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including PR, product development, and sales, to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all channels.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously evolve our strategy.
- Conduct market research to understand audience needs and expectations, tailoring our content for engagement and impact.
- Prepare regular reports for stakeholders, highlighting engagement metrics, campaign performance, and actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related fields.
- Proven experience with social media platforms and a deep understanding of best practices, analytics, and community engagement strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content that resonates with various audiences.
- Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting data and metrics to guide decision-making.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content ideas while staying true to our brand mission.
